Cold‑galvanized spiral nail – high‑grip nail with corrosion protection

The spiral twisted body allows the nail, when driven, to penetrate the wood fibers in a rotational manner — like a screw — creating a mechanical bond that is several times stronger than that of a standard smooth nail. This profile significantly reduces the possibility of withdrawal and loosening of the joint under load, vibration, or working stress.

The cold‑applied zinc forms a protective layer that shields the metal from oxidation in moderate outdoor conditions, preserving the joint from rust and ensuring durability. The nail is additionally processed by tumbling and mechanical cleaning, resulting in a flat, smooth surface that is easy to drive without splitting the wood. An ideal solution for structures that require both strength and protection — but without the need for hot‑dip galvanizing.

Technical characteristics

– Type: spiral nail (twisted body, high grip)
– Material: high‑strength steel
– Surface protection: cold galvanizing (basic anti‑corrosion protection)
– Processing: tumbling + mechanical cleaning (smooth driving without edges)
– Body: spiral profile — 2–3× stronger holding than smooth nails
– Head: flat, suitable for countersinking into material
– Tip: sharp, easily initiates entry into wood and board materials
– Installation: manual or pneumatic, depending on specific application

Application (where it is used)

Cold‑galvanized spiral nails are recommended for structures that must be load‑bearing, stable, and durable, with added protection against oxidation. Suitable for assemblies exposed to vibration, twisting, or continuous load.

Most common applications:

Construction and structures
– battens, rafters, substructures, and panel systems
– joints exposed to load and vibration
– prefab and modular houses, structural elements
– situations where standard nails do not provide sufficient strength

Industry and packaging
– pallets and crates with higher loads
– transport packaging and industrial packing
– wooden boxes requiring resistant holding

Carpentry and assembly
– massive joints and load‑bearing elements
– production and assembly of furniture under stress
– structures that must remain stable over time

Semi‑outdoor use
– covered terraces and wooden outdoor structures
– projects exposed to moderate moisture
– joints where black nails would corrode over time

Advantages of cold‑galvanized spiral nails

– spiral body holds 2–3 times stronger than standard nails
– anti‑corrosion protection for moderately humid conditions
– resistance to withdrawal, vibration, and stress
– works like a screw without pre‑drilling
– smooth and uniform body — professional installation
– deep penetration into wood thanks to 70 mm length
– reliable solution for structures, pallets, industry
