TER cold-galvanized nail – thermo-refined nail for interior, assembly and carpentry applications

Thanks to the combination of thermo-refinement and cold galvanization, this nail provides excellent mechanical durability, elasticity upon impact and basic protection against surface corrosion in conditions where moisture is not constant.

Heat treatment increases the strength of the steel and reduces the risk of breaking during driving, which enables a stable joint even in hard wood. The cold galvanization process forms a bright and uniform protective film on the nail surface, making it aesthetically suitable for visible joints and elements that remain exposed to view. Due to lower energy losses during driving, work proceeds faster and with less effort, which is especially important in serial assembly and industrial wood processing.

Construction and technical characteristics

Material and heat treatment

Thermo-refinement of steel increases the nail’s resistance to bending and wear during driving. The steel structure retains elasticity under load and ensures a longer service life of the material.

Protection by cold galvanization

The cold-applied zinc layer creates a smooth, even surface with basic anti-corrosion function. It is most effective in areas with moderate humidity, dry interiors and standard assembly use where extreme resistance, as in hot-dip galvanized elements, is not required.

Tip, body and head of the nail

– Sharp tip facilitates penetration through wooden slats, OSB boards and construction panels without creating cracks.
– The body is precisely shaped, smooth and uniform, preventing friction and enabling stable penetration.
– Flat head is easily countersunk into the surface and provides a neat finishing layer, especially in interior joints.

Application in construction, industry and carpentry

TER cold-galvanized nails are used in the production of wooden structures, substructures, light panels, formwork and elements with temporary loads. They are an ideal choice for interior works where a reliable joint is needed without exposure to long-term moisture.
In carpentry production they are used for furniture assembly, making shelves, cabinets, drawers, decorative moldings and cladding. They are also suitable for industrial assembly of packaging, crates, pallets and serial production of elements where speed, cost-effectiveness and repeatable strength are required.

For home use they represent a practical solution for workshops, repairs, shelf assembly, decorations, garage work and smaller wood projects. They can also be used in outdoor structures in dry or moderate conditions, where humidity is occasional and controlled.
